| Holy Cross, Palmarsh |
This is a small mission church built in 1958 for the people in the west of the town. It has a smaller but dedicated congregation.
Recently, at Holy Cross Church, Jacky Moull was welcomed into the Parish as a Pastoral Assistant, accredited under the Authorised Lay Ministry Scheme of Canterbury Diocese, in a special thanksgiving celebration. It was a joyful occasion of recognition of Jacky’s ministry and of the importance of all the people of God, lay and ordained, accepting and following Christ’s calling on our lives.

Holy Cross Newsletter - July 2010
Hello everyone, this is my first time writing on behalf of Holy Cross, I would like to say a big thank you to Jeanne Tricky who has written this piece for many years, a hard act to follow Jeanne but I will do my best! There are many things happening in the next month, the children will be starting their summer holidays, many will be saying goodbye to friends from junior school and will be moving to the “Big School” with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, Jesus was a teacher and we who are at the “Big School “of life have learnt many lessons from His teaching and hopefully we can pass his teaching on to the eager fresh young minds. The big event in our July calendar is the Ordination of Colin on Sunday the 4th, a really special day, and we are all looking forward to it ,we welcome Colin, Rebecca and their lovely family to “our family” and we wish them all well. Many events coming up at Holy Cross in September and October so watch this space please.
God Bless Nanette Higgs |
